SE define industrial structures that offer purpose-built working environments for changing industries
A sustainable business
SE understands that a building’s performance is subject to its purpose. Listening to our clients about what makes an asset valuable to the end user, allows us to take an integrated design approach to create the most sustainable structures. we consider how all elements of a building’s design work together to meet the needs of its owners, occupants and environment.
Industrial Environments
Warehouses, processing and distribution facilities are fundamental for the functionality of our world communities. We help clients rethink their use of these purpose-built structures to enable the manufacturing, storage and distribution of essential goods and services, clothing, hardware, vehicles, plant and equipment. We find better ways to utilise these structures as holding facilities for flora, fauna, minerals and resources. Providing industrial structures for an array of mining, retail, and government entities.
We understand that Industrial buildings located in areas such as marinas or buildings used for purposes such as galvanizing plants can cause corrosive, acidic and abrasive environments. These environments require protection to structural steelwork.
Open Working Spaces
We use advanced design tools, skills and methods to work with our clients to design long spanning structures providing maximum ceiling heights. We pay particular attention in how we design to ensure ease of construction, while maintaining durability into the future and a light environmental impact.
Flat Slabs
What defines the performance of an industrial slab will depend on its purpose. We use reinforcement or post tensioned concrete to design for both static and dynamic load case scenarios. To minimise future maintenance and optimise performance, we design appropriate and purposely positioned joints which are affordable to build. We help our clients achieve the desired engineered concrete finish appropriate for its context.
